Professional Reportage Wedding Photographer

Peter has been a reportage wedding, and news photographer for 23 years, but not so much the later now. Reportage photography is all about understanding the people and location you are shooting in. A true reportage picture should show more about the people than the background, although this can add to the picture at times. Reportage images are people being themselves and not looking at the camera, and not being aware that a picture is being taken. Looking away from the camera does not automatically mean it is a reportage picture. Most of the time reportage wedding pictures look better black and white, because colours can be distracting. When choosing your reportage pictures to go into the album please feel free to ask Peter's opinion.
Reportage wedding pictures have grown in popularity since the late 1980's, with the advances in camera technology, (Motor Drives, Auto Focus, and Auto Exposure) making it easyer for the photographer to capture exciting images as they happen. With the digital age of cameras, reportage wedding images can now be artistically enhanced and put together with other reportage and formal wedding images into a montage, (O, and no stopping after every 36 exposures to change film.....just after every 400ish shots. this means more reportage wedding images from one photographer). Some photographers are still saying that film is still king, but does any one know where I can get a 78rpm player for some of my dads old records?). Digital photography can also the reportage wedding photographer, (Peter) or any reortage wedding photographers to change the light sensitivity (ASA) of their camera to suite all occasions. One on the day bonus for shooting digital is that Peter can show the couple what he has taken straight away if required, or later on in the wedding Peter can go through a large amount of what reportage wedding images he has captured on the day.
Reportage photography is better shown off with an album that has the flexibility to have different sized images on one page. Along with the formal photographs which are normally bigger, the reportage picture are smaller and more of them depending on the couples requirements. A mixed reportage and formal album can either have overlays or have one large montage image going across the whole length of the page. These albums are normally A4 (8x11in.) to A3 (12x16in.) either Portrait and Landscape. There are also square albums 10x10in,12x12in....etc. I prefer this size of album because artisticlly I can put together Portrait, Landscape, and Square print combinations to suit the images that the couple selects.
Peter lives on the border between Northamptonshire, East Midlands, and Warwickshire. Close by counties that Peter normally visits in the course of his reportage wedding work are West Midlands, (Coventry, and Birmingham, Leicestershire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire, Bebfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, London, Greater London, Surrey, Berkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, and Worcestershire. Peter is an accomplished reportage wedding photographer and will if requested travel to photograph reportage weddings any where in the UK, (Maybe abroard if required)
